1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to the Africa Protein Alliance (APA). By accessing our platform, participating in our programs, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The APA is an independent, non-profit organization based in Gqeberha, South Africa, dedicated to food security and value chain enhancement across the African continent.

2. Advisory Council Conduct

Serving on the Africa Protein Alliance Advisory Council is a position of trust. Members swear to uphold the following:

  • Constitutional Adherence: Remain in strict accordance with the APA Constitution at all times.
  • Impartiality: Provide fair, unbiased terms of service and decision-making.
  • Confidentiality: Do not disclose organization-sensitive information, trade secrets, or internal strategies.
  • Ambassadorship: Act as a representative and ambassador of the APA, maintaining the integrity and reputation of the organization.

3. Event Photography & Media

By attending APA events, you acknowledge that we reserve the right to take photographs and recordings of attendees. These media assets may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, internal reports, and sharing with our advisory board and members. You will be informed of such photography on-site.

4. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Standard updates will be effective within 24 hours of notification. However, any amendments relating to statutory or regulatory requirements ("Strict Laws") shall be effective immediately, and the organization shall inform its members accordingly.

5. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Given our Pan-African operations, we endeavor to harmonize our standards with broader African legal frameworks, but in cases of conflict, the jurisdiction of South African courts shall prevail.
